St. Bartholomew's C E (VC) Primary School is a one and a half form entry school within the St Bartholomew’s CE MAT. The school caters for children from Nursery to Year 6. Our distinctive Christian nature permeates all aspects of school life and we see the close link with St. Bartholomew's church as a core element of our school. We aim for all of our pupils to enjoy the very best start to their lifelong learning journey and our values are rooted in love, trust, compassion and forgiveness.

For us, success is measured in terms of personal development which goes far beyond academic attainment. Indeed, these two elements go hand in hand: a happy child will be a successful child. We believe that the partnership between parents and school is very important and invite you to be involved in your child's education.

I am very proud to be part of the St. Bartholomew's community and look forward to developing a strong link between home and school. Your child’s happiness is of paramount importance to us all at St Bart’s and we endeavour to ensure that all children reach their full potential in an encouraging, supportive and enjoyable environment. We have built an exciting curriculum, designed to ensure challenge for all, through engaging and exciting lessons. We also offer a wealth of enrichment activities throughout your children’s time with us: there are numerous class trips, residential visits, experiential learning days, whole class and small group music lessons and a wealth of after school activities for them to enjoy. We have recently achieved the Gold Mark standard for outstanding PE and games provision.
